Busy Bee!

My name in Hebrew means "Busy Bee!"  That is exactly what it has been like lately.  I am almost finished with emptying out the spare rooms.  I just have some photo stuff that I need to sort through, consolidate and re-box again.  I also have some gardening stuff that I need to put away.  Then I can clean the carpets in both rooms.  Our house is getting organized like never before!  Whoohooo!!!!  I have been listening to "Revive Our Hearts" at www.reviveourhearts.com on Proverbs 31 woman.  One of the things that stood out is that I am to be the manager of my home and have it clean and ready when my husband comes home from work.  I know I haven't done as well a I should and I believe that this clearing out stuff that we do not use or need will make the biggest difference.  We have all the stuff in the garage, priced and ready for a yard sale on Friday and Saturday.  I have already got my permit.  I am praying however that people can find us.  I am listing the sale in the paper, but our town does not allow signs.....even though everyone does it anyways.  I struggled with this but I know that as a believer I need to do it God's way and obey the ordinance.  So, I am praying that He will provide people to come and buy our stuff and the monies we earn will go towards things that need to be fixed at our house and if we have enough buying water storage barrels for emergency preparedness.

My garden is growing well.....too well.  I have not kept up with the weeding, nor getting those green beans frozen.  I need to work on that tonight too!  :)  Busy, busy bee!  Hopefully by the end of next week I will be caught up on the weeding.

God has also been working on my heart through a study that I am doing that I need to eliminate TV watching (at least for the month of August).  I don't watch a lot of TV most of the time, but sometimes when I am doing household chores I will turn it on for "company."  However, the Lord has shown me that I can better use that household chore time to do scripture memory, prayer, meditating on His Word, etc.  I also need to be careful what I put in my mind.  I have found that I have been struggling a lot with fear...especially at night.  I realized last night that it is due to watching too much news and sometimes a movie on Lifetime Channel will have stories that make me scared.  So....I need to be careful and filter the things I take in.  My nephew said the other day that he couldn't watch TV because it stays in his mind.  He decided the next day that he just can't watch scary TV because it makes him afraid.  What a wise little 5 year old.  From the mouth of babes!

I hope you are all doing well!  My hubby returns to work for one meeting this week and then meetings and room set up all next week.  Wow....where did the summer go!  I think we are both ready to get back to normal life however.   We both prefer being on a schedule!  :)   So.....starting next Monday my wake up time will be 4:30.  I have been getting up about 5:30 this week.  

So.......this busy bee needs to get back to work around here. 

 Thank you Lord for my health and the strength you have given me to accomplish so much.  May I be a better manager of my home in the days ahead!  In Jesus Name! Amen!

Can you tie colored balloons or ribbons along the path to your house to lead the way? That is what is done around here, just follow the yellow balloon. LOL

Hey Debbie!

I thought of craigslist. It's free, easy and I've found it quite effective to both give things away, and that's how we sold our vehicle!

If you need help I'm here, but if you just type it in on the web, Im sure you'll have no trouble posting an ad!

God's way of obedience (even though it may appear silly to the world) is always the right choice!
