Happy Father's Day

Okay....well almost!  I will be busy tomorrow and won't have a chance to blog! 

My brother is coming to town tonight and we are surprising my dad with a trip to Dodger Stadium for a game against the Angels.  My dad is a Dodger Fan, my brother and husband are Angel fans, and I am a fan of the season ending!  LOL!    Okay.....I am going to cheer for the Dodgers though!  Go Dodgers! 

I am so glad we can spend the day with my dad.  He and I have been close most of my life.  Matter of fact, I was always a daddy's girl.  I remember as a child thinking my dad knew everything, could fix everything and was my hero.  I love my dad!   My dad is our biggest encourager in life.  He has been there for me and my husband and we share a lot of fun as we all live together.  He treats my husband as if he was his own son.   My dad has gotten back into watching sports (now I have two TV's on watching the ballgame).   It's so funny.....my dad will be in his room watching and my husband in the living room.   They run back and forth talking about the game!  Go figure!    Some of my dad's favorite meals I cook are Hot Dogs, Bologna Sandwiches, and Meatloaf.  He is an easy to please man.....unless I serve chicken that is not from KFC.    He loves to stay busy and will help in the yard.....I am still trying to work on teaching him how to vacuum and dust....LOL!!!!  Okay....all kidding aside!  I love my dad very much!  I am so glad for these years of living together and sharing wonderful memories.  I hope he will be around for a long, long time!  :)  Happy Father's Day Dad!  :)
