My Summer Schedule

I have already seen that I can so easily get out of schedule when my dh is home!  (Today is his first day home)      So, I have decided to set a basic schedule for the summer.

4:30  Get up and have morning devotions  (I can't make it through the day without meeting with the Lord.  Sometimes I get priorities out of wack and I find that I don't juggle my time well, I am more irritable, I do not have my focus in the right place...for instance...worry over trusting, etc).

5:30 Go for a walk with Shane (we are going to use this time to partly work on memorizing the book of James...a goal for both of us)  Physical and spiritual exercise!

6:30 Work in Garden

8:30 or 9:30 (Depending on Garden needs) clean inside (dust, vacuum, bathrooms, laundry, baking, canning, declutter, etc)

1:00 Work on preparing for Fall Bible Study at church and writing Bible Study on "Garden of your heart."  (Of course this will be on days that I am not in the kitchen all day canning).  No more than 30 minutes computer time in the afternoon.  (I am so guilty of wasting too much time on the computer during the day). 

2:30 or 3:30 Mondays only (meet with my sil and nieces for Bible Study together)

4:00 Begin to prepare dinner (we usually eat about 5:00)

5:30 Clean up dinner dishes and relax with dh, read, play games, watch a a movie, read on computer, etc. 

Okay.......this schedule starts next Monday! :)   

Lord, I commit to you my days, my summer.  May I be pleasing to you with my time.  May I not be so determined to stick to this schedule over others needs, but may I use it as a tool to guide my time to make the most of the 24 hours that you have given me each day.  May I use that time to glorify you in my thoughts, actions and words.  In Jesus Name!  Amen!
