Getting Caught Up!

Awwww....the feeling of getting caught up at home is wonderful!  I have been so busy in the past several weeks and out of the home more than I like!   I had stopped right in the middle of decluttering and sorting through things to get rid of, and stopped in the middle of spring cleaning.  Yesterday I started to get back on track!  Whew! 

This time of year is so busy with gardening as well and keeping up with the weed pulling!  :)  Boy those things can grow fast!  It always reminds me that I need to be so very careful the seeds that are planted in my life.  If I fill my mind with  with wordly things,  critical thoughts, etc those seeds can grow so fast in my attitudes, actions, etc.  When I fill my mind with God's word it helps smother out those other seeds and fruit develops!  Yesterday, I was reminded that I set a goal to memorize the book of James for the summer.  I think I am on verse 6 of Chapter 1.  So, I am reminded today to fill my mind with the truth of God's word!  :)    To implant it in my heart and mind!   How about you?  Are you implanting God's word in your heart?  Do you spend more time thinking about God's Word over other things?

I have another day at home, accept for leading Bible Study with my nieces, their friend and my sister-in-law.  We are taking the girls through a Bible Study called "Growing in Christ."  (published by the Navigators).  The first five lessons are on "Lessons on Assurance" and the remaining eight lessons are "Lessons on Christian Living."  It has been a fun time doing this with the girls and a great reminder of the basics of God's word.  :)  If you know anyone who is a new Christian or someone who has never been discipled, this study is ideal!  :) 

So today will be a day to continue the chores around here, getting caught up, and enjoying the joy of my salvation!  For those of you who knew my dad was on a cruise/vacation, he is returning home today!  :)  We look forward to seeing him as we missed him!
