Celebrations!

Yesterday my oldest niece graduated from High School!  What a wonderful celebration this weekend is!  Today we are going over for a graduation party.  Do you remember when you graduated?  All the hopes, dreams, future that lie ahead, etc?  Looking back now, I can see how God has been so faithful to me.  All my dreams have not been fulfilled, but God has been faithful to sustain me!  All my hopes didn't happen within the same time frame that I wanted, yet I am very satisfied!  I still have a future that lies ahead....just not as much here on earth, but a long eternity in heaven.  My perspectives have changed, I have settled down, I have more experiences to fall back on, but the most important thing that has not changed is Jesus!  Scripture says that "Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever!"  Although starting out in life is much different than it was in the early 80's, I am glad that my niece has the same God who never changes to guide each of her steps, uphold her, strengthen her, and lead her down the narrow path. 

As you know my passion is gardening!  I love it!  :)  Well, we have opportunities each and every day to plant seeds of faith in those around us.  Maybe it will be with a niece who is graduating, a niece who is in high school, a nephew who starts Kindergarten in the fall, or a neighbor in need.  Whomever God places in our path's, let's share a little of the hope that we have in Jesus.  Let's trust Him with our future and the future of those we love.  Let's celebrate the faithfulness of God each and every day of our lives throughout eternity.....that is a very long, long, long, long time!  :)   

Congratulations Jenn......I am very proud of you!  I love you too!
