Yummy Recipes I tried today!

I tried the Mimi's Corn Chowder recipe (link on previous post) and it was very good.  It wasn't as thick as I had hoped, but I think that I may have miscounted the flour.  I know...how can someone miscount 3 Tbs., but my hubby was talking to me, I was trying to get the dog out of the kitchen (puppy training) and in between doing stuff was mopping floors.  LOL!

The other recipe that I tried today was Crystal's Sour Cream Pumpkin Coffeecake.  You can find that recipe at  www.thefamilyhomestead.com  in the homestead kitchen section.    So far  all the recipes that I have tried of Crystal's have been excellent!  :)  Check out the Mongolian Beef, Hamburger Stroganoff, Bread recipes, Ranch Chicken Casserole, etc.   They are all a hit at my house!  :)
