Today we went off to town. It was a beautiful snowy day and Stanley thought it was fun to go out while it was snowing.Our first stop was at the Mitchell County courthouse. Our county has made a DVD about life in Mitchell County and we thought it would be fun to send one home with Stanley.
If Stanley comes back for a visit we would like to visit these historic sites
A trip to town would not be complete without a stop at our wonderful library!

Our library has a large area just for young readers. It also has weekly programs for children. Stanley wishes he could stay and go to a couple of those.
A quick stop at the grocery store before heading home.
