We have been chosen to be a host family for Flat Stanley. Quite an honor I must say! I received a letter from my niece who lives in Hemet Calif.(southern) asking us to help with her son Jacob's Flat Stanley project. We were delighted . First thing we had to do was get Stanley some Iowa clothes.
A nice warm hat,coat and mittens was just what was needed. After breakfast Stanley helped My Honey do the morning chores.
In this cold weather one must be properly dressed!! First we need to get the grain for the animals.
Next we feed the hay.
After chores Stanley wanted to play in the snow for awhile. He doesn't get to do that often at home.
What is playing in the snow without making a snow angel?
Tomorrow we are going to go to town! Tune in for more...
