I am trying to get ready for Spring. It's that time of year where the weather can't decide if it is Spring or still Winter.Last week we had several days that made me so what to plant something but this week has been cold and wet.We were supposed to get 6 to 10 inches of snow today but here south of town ,we got a dusting. We do have some wonderful ice creations hanging from the house though. The pics don't show all the delicate beauty. I know I know "snow melting off the roof shows you dont' have enough attic insulation" I live in a 100+ year old house, trust me, we dont' have enough insulation!!
I can't believe another winter has almost gone by and all the projects I saved for winter are mostly undone. How often do we say "Oh we can do that this winter when things are slower"???? Slower yes but much COLDER too.. I was going to replaster and paint my living room, put up new shelves, work on organizing the barn...and on and on... What did I get done?? I got the christmas decorations put away....well kinda ..... It is in the right room just not in the closet yet because I wanted to go through it all and toss what was old and broken.(Aren't we glad God doesn't do that to us??).. I did spend alot of time by the wood stove reading...ummmm I'm sure I did more than that..Oh well I can do it this summer when it's warmer :):):):) Blessings

"Technically" it isn't spring yet... Besides, we must first go through mud season to get to spring. :)
