My hubby is using up his last two vacation days today adn tomorrow before the end of the fiscal year for his company.  It is one of those use them or loose them things, so everyone in the office has been taking a day or two off this week to use those days up.  Matthew works for the city in the Utility office but is in charge of alot of the internet services for the town.

Today he found out the plumbing problem in the basement is something he is unable to fix himself.  He likes to try to do home repairs on the house himself when he can, but unlike Tim on Tool Time, he knows when he has met his match and when to call in the professionals. LOL  So I have a call in to a family friend who is also a plumber to call me adn come look at it today or tomorrow.  While waiting for his phonecall Matthew has decided to help me do a few things around the house (I am very grateful for that!!!).

Matthew has went through all Noah's toys today (a project I was planning on doing today or tomorrow) and weeding them out, storing the ones he has grown out of or doesn't play with as often.  Noah loves it when daddy cleans up because he sets out certain toys in play mode for him.  LOL  Noah wakes up late this morning (thank you for letting mommy sleep in), and his toy carpenter bench and drill, etc. was all waiting for him.  He was so exicted. LOL

I have a few loads of laundry to do today and tomorrow to get it caught up for the weekend (seems like Matthew had some dirty clothing adn towels hiding in his bathroom I didn't know about. LOL), and I am rearranging the cleaning supplies and laundry soap, etc. in the cabinets in our laundry room because we just got a new shipment of our favorite items in.  (We use Melaleuca laundry adn cleaning items because they don't have chemicals and fragrances in them that could be harmful to you or the environment!!!!  It is all concentrated and we have been using them almost 3 years now and love everything in the line!  You can look up their website at: www.melaleuca.com) 

Most of the cleaning adn dusting is done in the house, except for our bedroom/craft room (until the upstairs bedrooms are done, our bedroom is both! YUCK).  So I plan on spending some time in there reorganizing my fabric stash and other supplies.

Matthew asked for Sweet and Sour Meatballs tonight for supper and since I already have hamburger thawed out, I will make them with mashed potatoes and buttered corn tonight.  This is one of our families all time favorite meals!!!!  YUMMO!  If I had thought of it soon enough, I could have put the meatballs in the crockpot, but at 3pm, it is toolate for that.  Oh well, next time.

My cell phone is dead today.  I only realized this today while hanging up my purse and realizing it was not in my purse, and OH NO!  I think I washed them in my jeans I wore yesterday!  So I went running to the washing machine (I had thrown the load in earlier this morning), and there it falls out of the jeans pocket as soon as I picked it up!!!  Matthew took the battery out and it is now drying nicely on the computer desk.  I am hoping it will be ok after being dried out and so is Matthew, but of course.....no guarantees on that.  I did have my eye on a blackberry (we currently both have razers) the other day on the internet though, so if this one can not be resurrected, I will order it this week.  I felt really bad for washing it, and could just kick myself for this stupid mistake, but Matthew was sweet and understanding about it.
