Isn't it funny how some of us (ok most of us I would hope) have grown up alot since highschool and some others haven't changed a bit. They are just as snotty, immature and stuck up, won't talk to anyone outside of their click, don't want their children playing with "those kind of kids", etc.
I graduated in 1991. Yes I am telling my age a little by this, by since it is only a number to me, I don't care. (Let's see if I feel the same way in another 10-15 years. LOL) I will turn 35 this April. I would like to think I have grown up alot since highschool and don't play the same childish games we all did in middle school and highschool. Obviously I am wrong!!!!
I never drank or did drugs, or smoked in highschool, and so it amazes me how some of my highschool friends are still doing it. They are married, have several kids, a house, a nice job, and yet they are getting DUI's on the weekend and spending time in the courthouse later on. What wonderful examples you are making for your children.
I ran into a girl from highschool yesterday at the chiropractor's office. She was a year younger than me in highschool. She was a stuck up snob then (bless her heart) and she still is now. When I saw her face to face yesterday, she turned her head quickly to act like she had never seen me and acted like she was talking on the cell phone. LOL How childish!!! She is also one of the people from highschool that I have recently tried to add to my myspace page and she refused to add me.
Why do people continue to act like this years after they are into adulthood??? I am not asking to be best friends with you, not trying to invade your life. I just look up old highschool friends and aquaintances, to see what they are doing now after highschool. Only 2-3 have turned me down, but I just don't understand it. LOL
I try to be nice to everyone I see. I saw a gal from highschool while eating out the other day and waved and said hi from across the resturant. She talked to me about a year after highschool and told me off because she thought I was being snobby to her in highschool. I said Bobbie, I had no problem with you in highschool and never said anything bad to you. She thought I was being snobby because I didn't talk to her. I said I was sorry, but we were all immature then, and I meant nothing by it. We aren't close friends by any means, but she is nice to me and I am nice to her now when we see each other. LOL
I wish if these other girls have or had a problem with me, they would be grown up enough to tell me why. I am not perfect and I am sure I did offend some people in highschool without meaning too, but I was not the snotty, better than you popular kind. I also wasn't the mean kind in highschool either. I thought I got along with everyone!
Anyway.....those are my thoughts.
Have a wonderful day!
God's Blessings,

When people say "oh my gosh that is so highschool", my kids don't get it (home schooled, high schoolers) and ask "what do they mean"?
Nothing has changed. I was 'supposed' to graduate in 1983 (ha ha telling my age.....my first born was 91 :-) and it's the same. Nothing has changed.
People are humans, humans are wrecked with sin, and need a Savior. I used to say "women were the worst" but after this last year...........men are starting to gossip and backstab and two face just like women. It's especially sickening to see a man act like that!! AHHHHHHH
Keep your eyes on the Real Prize, and stay focused on Him!!
