This title describes only some of the things going on in this house today!!! LOL
We had a whole hog processed and it is ready to pick up today. It is an almost 45 minute drive for me to pick up, but since Matthew works outside of town only 15 minutes from the processing place, he is going to pick it all up after work. I already called the guy at the Meat Locker and he is going to stay a few minutes after closing time to wait for Matthew to pick up. Then I had to electronically transfer some money into the secondary account so Matthew could pay for this with his debit card.
I have a migraine today, and am just trying to cope with it. I should be doing laundry and a few dishes from last nights supper, but I just can't make myself do it. It seems the weather changes outside do this to me too often. But on the other hand, I am so happy for the sunshine today!!!! I needed some of that natural vitamin D!!!! LOL
We had planned a dinner night for Wednesday while Mia and Sarah were staying with us over spring break, but now that Mia isn't coming at all, and Kara and Matt have decided not to come, Sarah, my hubby, and I along with Jen (friend who lives across town) are planning on having a movie night Wednesday and eat snack foods. I am making little smokies (wrapped in bacon, sprinkled with brown sugar and baked......they are so yummy that everyone fights over them!!!!), sausage and pepperoni pizza, veggie pizza (crescent rolls make the crust, and then when cooled we layer on sourcream mixed with dry hidden valley ranch dressing, shredded cheese and your favorite cold raw veggies......this is yummy, and all the girls love it!!!! Hubby hates it and call it girl food, so we have to fix the other pizza for him. LOL), and some brownies for dessert!!!! Jen and I decided to eat like pigs Wednesday and start dieting again on Thursday!!! LOL
The time change this week has really affected Noah's sleeping and napping patterns. In fact, this week he has decided he doesn't need a nap at all. I lay him down for his nap, buit he won't sleep. He lays there staring at the ceiling, playing with his blanket and stuffed animals, sings and talks to them, etc. I guess I don't have much to complain about....he is at least resting even if he doesn't fall asleep!!!
Have a great week ladies!
