Tomorrow: Getting Back on Schedule

I am bound and determined to get a few things done tomorrow.  Not too much mind you, because I am still getting over the flu adn don't want to wear my body out.   But I must admit the laundry is tormenting me thinking there is only one load left to do.  LOL  I would feel better with a room full of laundry than just one small load left.  LMSO  So tomorrow I will do some much needed dusting, one load of laundry and a few dishes.  If I have the energy, all the bathrooms needs to be cleaned as well.

Today was the first day of our sickness that Matthew hasn't been here to help me, and I think we handled it pretty well, except for the hour that blessed Noah coughed and coughed (and coughed) for an hour straight.  Bless his heart!!!!!  I started a hot shower and let it steam up the bathroom and took him in there for about ten minutes, gave him his cough medicine, and then gave him some mini melts (the kid version of the Mucinex medicine) and it helped tremendously!!!  He did really well the rest of the day even though he was tired and is still taking double naps during the day.

Tonight Matthew and I spoke before he got home from work adn decided we would order Chinese Take Out for dinner tonight.  We haven't been able to make it to church for about 3-4 weekends in a row due to sickness and weather, and at least once a month we try to eat at a chinese resturant after church.  So with me being sick, and Matthew being very stressed after working all day for the city (they lost 60 % of the city's electricity and internet today and his supervisor was gone, so it all fell on his shoulder's today!), he decided we could splurge and order Chinese.  It was yummy and there is enough leftovers for a day or two to eat on!  YUMMY!!!  Guess what I will be hanving for lunch tomorrow!

Well, time to take some medicine for this crazy cough and get some rest.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

God's Blessings,

Amy Jo

I know how you feel girlfriend, I hate being off schedule, it just throws me all out of whack. Thank God that I had enough strength to work through the sick days and I didn't fall too too behind on chores and such. Hope you catch up soon...........Kitty

nobody in our house has gotten this dreaded flu!!! and for that I am extremely grateful (Thank you Jesus!)

Praying for health in your household and making notes on your menu for future meals.... I so need to get better about planning things out so I dont have to 'think' about it.
