Pictures of Noah's bedding....FINALLY

Hey all!!  If you have been reading my blog then you know I am trying my hand at making our little Noah  a new set of toddler bedding.  I finished some things this weekend, and plan to have the last blanket made this week.  Then I will start on the curtains and crib sheet.

The following picture is of the wallhanging for Noah's new teddy bear John Deere bedroom.  (Sorry about it being sideways.  I couldn't get it to rotate!!!!)

The next picture is to show you the denim backing on the wallhanging.  I will use this denim on his curtains.

The next picture is of the pillowcase I made.  I will also be making a crib sheet from the same material.  I thought it was so cute to make the pillowcase and crib sheet from the ticking type material.

The next is the material I will be making a blanket out of.  I will be backing it with the denim.

And finally, this is the fleece I bought to coordinate with it.  I did a simple blanket stitch around it to finish it off.  I love how thick and comfy this one is.  He loves fuzzy blankets so he already cuddles with this and loves it.  The words on the fleece are, "Teddy Bears ride tractors too"  How adorable is this???

Well, what do you think???? We are still working on the painting (Painting party this weekend to do the trim around the windows and doors in his bedroom) and then we are laying new carpet.  I will try to take a picture after it is all done!!!

God's Blessings,

Amy Jo

Amy Jo thanks for visiting my blogs today and for the kind comments. I love your John Deere theme for your son. I am doing my sons room in John deere as well but the regular looking stuff, only because they are a bit older. But that is soooo cute. Please stop by any timey you are feeling cold lol.
Blessings,

Blessings!
I only recently began to read through your blog and I wanted to tell you I am enjoying it:) I came across your blog through my daughter Mary-Ann at Woodruffe Rabbits.
The bedding is adorable. Makes me wish I had a wee one around again:) Well, hopefully come Christmas we will be grandparents again so who knows:P
I did similar things for one of our grandsons in Winnie the Pooh. I love how vibrant they make that fleece nowadays:) And all the matching coordinates are such fun.
Have fun with his room and I look forward to seeing a picture of your finished project:)
God be with thee!

This is going to be sooo cute! I dont recall seeing this theme. It's nice to meet you through your blog. I especially enjoyed you sharing about leaving your little Noah at home w/dad while you had a girl's evening out. That was soo cute. Make sure to show us pics of your results from paint party!

AmyJo,
The fabrics you chose are absolutely adorable. Where did you find them? My father owns a John Deere Dealership, so I grew up with John Deere green and yellow for everything. It is nice to know they are using a variety of colors now - even PINK for girls. Since I have all girls, they appreciate the pink Grandpa brings now!
Blessings,
Michelle
