This is a phrase on one of my signs hanging over the doorway in my home. I looked up at it and thought long and hard about that today, and although most of the time it sends me into a sentimental story of how dearest and I met and he proposed only 9 weeks later, etc., today it made me think of something else.
It made me think of all the clutter and junk we keep around this house. Why??? Because Me and the junk fell in love. LMSO Because I thought I couldn't possibly live without it and it jumped into my cart and begged me to take it home. How about that shirt I bought at the gargage sale knowing it was too small and I would never wear it, or the door I bought to hang on the door that I still have in the box and still haven't hung, and now don't know what to do with it. I am sure several of you have a similar story. You bought something, maybe you used it for a while, but now it is stuck in a closet, or in the corner, or worse, it is sitting on your dining room table screaming at you! LOL I had hubby take several of these type items upstairs last weekend so they weren't staring at me anymore!
What needs decluttered in your house this week? Perhaps something you used to use, but no longer have a need for, or something you will never use. Some of us see them as treasures, but if you are no longer getting anything from it, let it free for someone else to love on, use or collect!!! Let someone else be the clutter bug!!! LOL
