My schedule called for doing some laundry on Friday so I wouln't have to do it this weekend, but that didn't exactly happen. I spent most of the day babysitting a 3-4 month old and a 6 year old instead. LOL No time for laundry!!! I babysat baby Zackary and Reece for their mother who was attending her brother's funeral (my friend who died Monday) and I had so much fun! The boys were really well behaved and I had a blast watching that baby since we would like to someday have more children. I looked up at one time and baby Zackary was on my lap drinking from a bottle, our son Noah was in his highchair eating, and Reece was beside him at the dining room table eating as well. I thought how sweet this house would be filled with more children!!!! LOL
Today is a three day weekend for hubby. Today while I do the laundry I should have yesterday and get some things straightened up in the kitchen and my sewing area, he is painting the walls in Noah's new bedroom. Slowly but surely it is coming along. I am hosting a painting party for some girlfriends next weekend (and enticing everyone to come with yummy snacks) to do the painting on all the trim and doors for his new bedroom. It should be fun!!! I can't wait!!!
Tomorrow, we plan on attending church (hoping the weather they are forecasting isn't too bad!!!) and then to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things while we are in town. I gave alot of groceries away earlier this month to a friend and his family in need, and now I need to replace a few things. We had a well stocked pantry, so I honestly don't need much, but a few things will help me till the end of February!
On Monday, even though Matthew has the day off, he plans on working with a local Electrician getting some electrical work done. This is hubby's way of making a little extra monday (he tries to work with this man 1-2 days a month on weekends) for his allowance. LOL I can't see taking money out of the household budget for things we don't really need, so he uses this money for his spending money on things that are not listed in the household budget!
I need to get a little baking done this weekend for Matthew this weekend. He wants some cookies and maybe some muffins for this week that he snacks and eats on while at work. And another thing I need to do before I forget is take a new inventory of the groceries we have, so making out the groccery list for March's groceries won't be so difficult. |
