
I have started a new family tradition for this month and that is having leftovers on Mondays. After a busy weekend, I need a night off from cooking and the leftovers need eaten, so this was a perfect idea and so far is working well.
Monday: Leftovers (pork loin and veggies from Sunday and Sweet and Sour Meatballs and Salad from Saturday evening)
Tuesday: Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, and Buttered Peas
Wednesday: Ham and Broccoli Bake
Thursday: Baked Pasta and Garlic Bread
Friday: Date Night Out! (My sister in law is in a play and the tickets include a buffet dinner as well. The proceeds go to a local church who is adding on to their building.)
Saturday: Lunch: chilli and cornbread
Supper: Lemon Chicken, Roasted Vegetables, Steamed Broccoli
Sunday: Lunch: Sandwiches
Supper: Hamburger Steaks, Fried Potatoes and Onions
