People To See:

Dear Lord, you know who did this awful thing to this girl, and we ask you to deal with it as you see fit!!!

I have been just sick over this young girl and her disappearance during her highschool trip to Aruba.  My heart aches for her parents and other loved ones left behind.  I don't knwo who for sure is guilty, but I know Jaron admited to it, and if he did do it I hope he will be punished.  I don't wish him death, but punishment for any wrong he did.

My biggest concern in this and I have never heard this brought up on any TV shows I have seen on the subject, is: Why would a hughschool decide to take the teenagers to a country in which the drinking age is 18???? Why would any parent actually agree to this???  I guess I am a little old fashioned and I am in agreement with the no drinking till 21 rule in our country.

I continue to pray for the Holloway family.  They have dealt with so much over the past few years loosing their beautiful daughter, and dealing with all the legal junk and police and now the admission from Juron of the death and such now.

Just a few thoughts.  If your children were in public school, would you let them go on a senior trip to a country whose drinking age was 18??? I know the children were supervised some of the time, but obviously not all the time.  I am afraid my daughter would not be going unless I was one of the chaperones myself.  It would be different if it were in the United States, but in a foreign country...I would have to be there for my child to go on such a trip.

What are your thoughts?????

Amy Jo, I am with you on this thinking and it is never said, that this family let their child go down there for a week of "Partying". I know they are grieving and I do feel for them but it all could have been so easily stopped by not letting their child go!!
Also, after hearing of all the immorality that this girl was participating in, we need to teach our own children better. They need to know that there are predators out there and that you can make it easier to be a victim.
Blessings,
Trixi

~~~I agree with you here. But also belive if she wasn't put in a place of such temptation at age 18 without parents present, she might not have fallen into the sea of immorailty she did. Yes we shoudl guide and protect our children from such predators by teaching them better!!!
A) Jesus loves them.
The parents, the chaperones, and the killers. All involved have a choice, Heaven or Hell.
B) Consequences are part of sin.
C) Satan has come to kill, steal and destroy.
He is our adversary. It is he that we should be angry with.
D) This is a snap shot of the world, and it's ways, and it's rewards. This should cause each one of us to our knees to Seek His Face and His Will. NO Jesus, no Peace........KNOW Jesus, KNOW Peace! That is so very very true.
I cannot imagine the grief the parents must feel not only losing their child, but never finding the body to bury. I cannot imagine the empty space left in their hearts and minds when their daughter was murdered..........
But as a mother of children, and more importantly a Child of God.........I know that it is His Will that I should seek, not the world and it's ways. The Bible says that being friends with the world is hatred towards God.
Right now, today, there is a Serial Killer in Florida. He stalks, kills and dismembers young girls for the fun of it. They have not caught him.
Yet, thousands and thousands of teens will converge on Florida in a month, drunk, on drugs, and having illicit parties in the hotel rooms and on the beach ((ALL on their parents Visa Card, WITH their parents approval)) and this devil is searching to and fro, looking for someone to devour.
Nothing has changes since the beginning of time........except we are moving closer to the end time. (1 Timothy 3)
I think it's terrible adults would allow their children to go to such a place where they know partying is going to be happening. I imagine those adults wish they could go back in time now choose another destination. It's all such a shame. Did you see the show last night about it? I think it's possible she could've died from alcohol poisoning. Poor, poor parents.
~~~~Yes I saw the show last night about it. This is what brought the subject tot hte front of my mind again and just made my heart ache for her parents once again.
