Am I the only one who can't seem to get a darn thing done with hubby hanging around?? I am so used to him working Monday through Friday and sometimes on a Saturday that when he is home for any reason during the week, it totally throws me off my schedule for cleaning. I am not sure why this is either. There is no logical reason for it. I have no big excuses really.
The day was SUPPOSE to start off with hubby going to a local town where our church does a food pantry every month. We are so blessed to be able to be a part of this food pantry. Our Bible Study group, had been praying about this for some time, and then several weeks later, our Pastor received a phone call asking him if our church would have the means to give away semi truckloads of food to the needy and those strapped for cash, etc. He said of course, we will do whatever it takes, and asked if this was a one time thing and he was informed that it was not. Now our church hosts a food pantry day in 2 different towns once a week!!! It has been such a blessing. We help out over 500 families per town once a month with groceries and neccessities!!! Anyway, hubby planned on going to help out today after requesting the day off 3 weeks ago, but he got sidetracked and didn't get out of the house all day!!
So, we watched some movies, I fixed lunch, we played with Noah, talked, went over our family monthly budget, fixed dinner together, bathed the little one and put him to bed, and now we are in separate rooms on the internet. LOL After all that togetherness, we needed some private time. LOL We had a good time together today though even if I didn't get anything done!!!
Tomorrow hubby will be helping a friend out all day with electrical jobs, so I am planning on catching up on the laundry and hopefully the dishes as well, and possibly get some more sewing done as well. I want to take some time to make some muffins and cookies as well for hubby to take to work with him on Monday. He loves it when I make him cookies and baked goods!!!!
Well, I am off to look for patterns and more supplies to make for Christmas presents. My girlfriends and I made aprons for friends and family this year, but we promised ourselves we would start off earlier next year! LOL So I am starting off now getting the items together and will start on them soon.
God's Blessings,

Just remember, you did get something done...you spent a wonderful day with your hubby, and that nurtures your relationship. :) What a blessing.
