Today started the cold rain and later this evening the forecast is calling for snow. Of course they can't tell us when, where or how much till it hits the ground. LOL We think that electronics and such have really come along way in telling us about an upcoming storm or weather front, but in this case, each channel or radio station is reporting something different and we don't know who to believe. They are calling for anywhere between 1-3 or 3-5 inches. LOL
One storm is supposed to be from tonight until Sunday and another coming in on Sunday till Tuesday of next week. So I am thinking I will be snowed in for the rest of the week. I don't mind being snowed in really. We have done all the grocery shopping we need to for the month, (including diapers and other household and tolietry supplies) and all errands have been taken care of except for pickign up meds at the pharmacy and thank goodness they are going to deliver today. I have plenty of sewing projects to work on, so being bored won't be happening LOL Hubby has a computer job after work and before church today if the weather permits.
My SIL came by the house today on her way to meet someone for lunch and picked up an apron I made for her SIL, my friend Becky. She saw the one I made my SIL for Christmas and asked me to make her one and offered to pay for it. Of course I said no way....I am not charging you anything!!! She said on her way to town, there were 6 vehicles in the ditch, on the side of the road, or down the embankment in the field on the side of the highway. Evidentially there was some black ice and several got hurt, but she didnt' know how badly. One was a van and it had flipped on its top and another was a large truck with a large horse trailer being pulled behind it. The ambulance was long gone by the time she drove by, but the trucks were there pulling the vehicles out of the ditches, etc. Hubby told me there were 3 cars in the ditch on his way to work this morning as well. So I am hoping SIL and Hubby as well as my best friend who was out today all get home safely!!!
That's all for now.
God's Blessings,
Amy Jo
