Italian Square Meatballs are almost always in my freezer. They make a good and quick spaghetti, or meatball sandwich among other things. I wanted to share the recipe and directions with you.
Makes 4 servings or 36 meatballs
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb bulk Italian pork sausage
1 egg
1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.Line a 15x10x1 inch pan with foil. Spray foil with non-stick cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and shape mixture in pan into a 8 inch square. Score into 36 small squares. Bake this at 425 for 20-25 minutes or until no longer pink. Cut meatballs apart and use or freeze for later use. |
