A Succesful Garage Sale Day

My friend Marcia (momma25j's) and I went to her mother's (mommamarti) today to pick up some stuff (she gave us boxes of decorating and other country magazines) and we ended up going to a garage sale in the country a few miles down the road and we picked up some awesome stuff!  I spent 29 dollars there.  LOL  I don't normally shell out that kind of money at a garage sale but I came home with some beautiful fall and winter sweaters for myself, a ton of jeans, long sleeve shirts and t-shirts for little Noah and a purse.  All in all it was a pretty successful trip to the country today! LOL  I have been pouring over all the magazines while Noah is napping this afternoon!

Other than that and a drive by lunch with Marcia at Hardee's, the day was pretty boring. LOL

Well, that's all for today.  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and enjoys the long weekend.  As for us, we have some work to do on painting the kitchen or upstairs bedroom, etc.  This is Alumni weekend and we will stay in and off the streets this weekend.  All the past graduates will be drinking and causing havoc this weekend I am sure!!!

It was good to see you again and get acquainted with little Noah! The garage sale was fun, but usually she has tons more stuff. We will have to do that again! There awesome ones in KC or St Joe and I always come home with a van full of stuff!

Now I have to fix supper. The basement is coming together..believe it or not and it just may get finished tonight! LOL!

We had a good time.. I spent 20 bucks at the garage sale and I got myself some stuff which I needed and Jacob some stuff... LOL
I am staying home to. Caina called and asked if I wanted to go to the Wild Onion tonight to see some of our old classmates since it is our 15yr reunion, but I am not going.. Her granny was buried this am so she has had a hard time lately, but she is doing really well. Her little girl is so darn cute..
