Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Sweet and Sour Meatballs are one of my families favorite dishes.  You can serve this over hot rice, but since my DH doesn't like rice, we have ours over mashed taters! LOL  The sauce is wonderful!!

Sweet and Sour Meatballs

1 pound lean hamburger

1 egg, beaten

1 cup cracker crumbs

1/2 cup chopped sweet onion

1/2 cup milk

Sweet adn sour sauce:

3/4 cup vinegar

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup sugar

2T Worchestershire sauce

Form meatballs and place into a Dutch oven.  Combine sauce (tate test and add more sugar or vinegar to your own taste....I like mine a little sweeter than I do sour), and pour over meatballs.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink in the middle.

My family loves these as well.. Thank you for sharing this recipe with me many moons ago.. I had not made them in a longtime till the other day when you were talking about them and I decided to make them and Gradey and the kids Love them.. Thanks again.. I am making Tex Mex MacN Cheese this weekend.. I will let you know how it goes over.. Love ya
