LMSO....I don't know where that title came from but it made me laugh, so there ya go.
Talked to my friend Judy last night about hubby and the things he has said and etc. (read previous post for the story on this), and she suggested since he has ADHD with a tendancy for impulse situations and is not on his medication at the time, that he has OBVIOUSLY not thought this through. So.....she suggests we get his diagnosis for ADHD (We are still trying to track down the doctors and hospitals who diagnosed him as a child to get him back on the meds. They have conveniently lost the records.), and get him back on his meds before starting any classes whatsoever. She also suggested a local office may be able to help with the finances and we are going to look into that. So, we will look into all the options, get our ducks in a row and maybe if things are a go, he will start schooling in the next semester or two instead of rushing into it with his head in the clouds adn doing it all wrong and out of order. (I am learning this is part of his ADHD, but without having anyone in my close family or any close friends who have this, I am still learning about it and how it affects my DH's learning and concentration.) So it looks like I can breath easier about this. I panicked last night and oh so glad I was able to vent with a friend that has some experience with ADHD people and had some great insight and advice for me.
Today and tomorrow DH is home from work, taking anoher few days off and I was just thinking this morning, boy am I glad we dealt with this school thing last night, otherwise I am afraid the next 4 days with DH home all day could have been very difficult. So instead, he watched Noah so I could go to the doctor and get my shot, and he plans on watching him so I can go get my haircut as well. I need a pampering day after all I have dealt with lately! LOL
Today I have:
a load of laundry to wash, dry , fold and put away
sweep and mop the floor in the computer room and the main bathroom (did the disinfecting and toliet yesterday)
declutter some on the bedroom
declutter the medicine cabinet in the bathroom (it is overflowing and I am thinking there is some outdated things in there)
Fix dinner tonight....hubby's favorite......parmesan chicken with pasta and steamed broccoli
DH's Honey-Do list:
1. sweep and mop the kitchen and laundry room (he made a mess in both rooms, so he is cleaning it up)
2. Take a box or two upstairs
3. Straighten up backporch (the man cave. lol)
4. Clean out the car
We desperately need some rain here. Our grass is mostly brown and dead here, but the weeds around the sidewalks are nice and green and growing tall, so last weekend, DH took the weed eater out and trimmed the weeds. LOL I would love to see the green grass again, a few flowers before fall, but we need some rain first. Please Lord, let your cooking rain fall upon us this weekend.
Well, I think that is all for now.
God Bless everyone,
Amy Jo

Mars: I don't think he knows the orginal recipe was yours, but since then I have kinda tweeked it to make it mine and cut out some of the fattening butter. Planning on making it tonight since we didn't get around to making it last night. I had an awful headache and everyone understood and ate leftovers!
