This week I am hoping to have more time to spend on my monthly goals for Christmas 2009 crafting and sewing.  Think I am nuts for starting so early??? So do I in a sense.  LMSO  But 2008 didn't give me much time to get it all done, so I am starting super early this year and if I get done early.........SO BE IT!  LOL   This month, I need to finish up 4 of my denim butt aprons for presents this Christmas, and one that will be mailed out to a friend.

I am also entering a few swaps online through my all time favorite crafty site through out the year as well.  www. craftster.org     This month, I entered a pincushion swap.  I have never made one, but I have had a blast thinking up ideas and even searching around flicker to get some picture ideas.  My partner has asked for a wrist pincushion so she can put it on and carry it around with her.   So as I am laying in bed the other night, trying hard to drift off to sleep.........the idea came to me!  A wrist pin cushion that looks like a WATCH!  :)  Wouldn't that be neato?  So the next day I search flicker for some ideas and they had some great pictures of what I was picturing in my head.  I am going to try to work on it this week and get it done way before my deadline.  I can't wait to see how it will turn out and if my swap partner will like it.  Of course I will post pics when I get it done!

On othe craftiness, I am working on my second recipe scrapbook.  I made one for my neice Megan and presented it to her for Christmas.  I haven't posted pictures here on my blog, because I ended up finishing up the last little details of it on Christmas morning and hurried wrapped it as we were getting things together to leave the house..........and in all this hurriedness, I forgot to take pictures.  I have asked her to take some pics of it for me, but she is sooooooooooo busy (and I need to remind her because she is also a little forgetful! LOL).  The second one, I am making for my other neice living in Indiana.  I think she will love the idea.  I am hoping to have it done and sent out for her birthday on the 27th.
