Last night our power was off for most of the afternoon and night. Since my woodcook stove has not come in yet, I could not cook supper and we were afraid to open the frig or freezer since we did not know how long the power outage would last. Luckily we had our new Alddain Lamps so there was plenty of light to see by. Husband decided to read a book and the children played with thier toys on the floor nicely. This left me. What should I be doing? I decided to sit down and knit a pair of sock for my soon to be two year old son. I few hours after starting them, I was done! Wow, I am really getting the hang of this knitting thing. Now I can start a pair for my daughter. At this rate everyone might get two pair instead of one!
