Yesterday we woke up early inorder to get to the local Colonial faire before it started to heat up. This was our first year but we had a great time. There were a row of tents for the french, two for the english and a camp of indians. There was also a fort. We watched them spin wool on a spinning wheel and drop spindle, make clothes and discuss fashions, tan hides, make bullets, and so much more. Every thing was just perfect. These people must have spent so much time researching each item and task. After the faire we went to the local apple orchard. So many apples! To me, nothing says fall like a trip to the apple orchard. Perfect. I love the little kids in the you pick pumkin fields, moms pulling wagons filled with apples and mums, and dads with tried little ones on there shoulders. Leave a Comment
