We have been needing rain for awhile around here and we finally recieved about 5 minutes worth earlier today. The rain may have lasted only a short period but it will live for days inside and out. My 4 year old came home today from camping with her grandma and was joined by a 8 year old, 6 year old, and a 2 year old. Of course everyone had to go play in the yard with the chickens and mud and dirt all around! Next thing ya know they all have to "go potty". Of course our bathroom is the furthest point from the back door. Of well, I had to mop again anyways plus it was wonderful to see the children having that much fun. These other children don't usally have a chance to somewhere with plenty of room to run and certainly don't have chickens to play with.
