Oct. lets start shopping

Ok , I am trying this again, I wont do any big shopping till this weekend but I wanted to share what I got at the farmers market.
6 Acorn squash $3
2 other Squashes $3
4 pounds peaches $8
4 pounds plums $8
1 GIANT cabbage $2

We are still getting lots from our garden at least for another couple of weeks.
I have tomato's in the dryer, I have pizza sauce ready to freeze, and tomorrow I will make another batch of Salsa.

I know you posted this quite a while ago, but I just wanted to say that you got a nice amount of produce from your FM. I made it a habit of going to mine each Saturday all summer long. I am even going this weekend. Ours is open all winter long.

I love organic and frugal too. I milk our goats and make cheeses and soaps with the milk- and yogurt, kefir, and icecream...I'm blessed to live around where all the food is grown! Yakima.
