busy in the garden
|
I have spent most of the babies nap time in the garden for the last 2 days I still have a couple more bundles of seeds coming (hopefully tomorrow) Then I can mulch with straw
So maybe tomorrow I can post pictures of the garden.
Also DH is adding me a new spot that’s 8x6 I will pick up some new things from
the farmers market next weekend.
Looking forward to our summer’s bounty.
On a side not I am excited about starting a worm bin.
Next is building a chicken tractor. J shhhhh don’t tell my DH he isn’t ready for chickens yet, soon very soon.

Do you create a compost bin with worms or is it an actual place for worms? I encourage as many worms as possible in my gardens. Working nights, after a good rain on a slow night in the ER I'll often be found pickin worms up out in the parking lot and taking them home and spreading them out in my gardens. LOL. Quite the sight. Good luck with your endeavors. Oh, by the way, the book looks interesting. What's it about?

I totally know what you mean about your husband not being ready for chickens!! LOL I've got the same situation, and also have to build my own coop with items I FIND... and it's daunting!!
I'm thinking that when it's built and lacks the fencing material that he'll cave in. (Sometimes fencing and other things --even chickens!-- can be found in the free section of the newspaper classifieds).
