Two new gals moved into the barn today...one light brown Toggenberg named Reese Cup and a black and white Alpine named Peppermint Patty. Lets hope they decide to get along with everyone! The problem is most likely to be with Snow Flurry, who thinks she is the "Queen". If anybody is going to cause trouble, it will be her by not accepting the new tenants. She is so bossy! We are hoping that these two additions will help us to increase our production of soap while also keeping us well stocked in dairy products. Time will tell... I am hoping to get more involved in the cheese making process. I have yet to do hard cheeses. So far this week we picked several pounds of blueberries, started making pickles, and of course kept up with the soap and lotion business. Oh! And I started listing aprons in our Etsy shop too!
