Welcome to Freedom Acres Farm! ~ He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners ~* Isaiah 61:1

A Typical Tuesday

My life always seems so humdrum and I frequently wonder why or what to blog about. My daughter assures me that a blog is a diary and to treat it as such - so,  today I share my day with you :-)

Washed 4 loads of clothes

Changed a few diapers

Ran to town to buy half a dozen things that we were totally out of and couldn't wait until payday on Friday to get

Got frustrated with the cows as they dumped 30 gallons of water over a 2 hour period. And yelled at them that I was done hauling these darn 5 gallon buckets of water so they better behave themselves

Questioned myself why anyone would want to homestead in the winter in Minnesota!

Baked a double batch of chocolate chip cookies

Started work on our website that my daughter has got up and running but now we're going to make it a family homestead website

Did chores with my hubby outside while he milked the cow

Read some Charlotte Mason stuff for homeschool

Made tacos for dinner

Watched Dancing With the Stars

Read Miss Rumphius with my littles and kissed them good night :-)

Your daughter is right...I too wonder sometimes what to write...but it's about my day and if someone wants to read as well...great...if not, it's still my blog and my daily journal...

Have a blessed weekend.

I too wonder what to write sometimes. Especially since the baby came. I wonder who wants to hear about my hum drum day. But then, I remember how much fun it is for me to read my own archives. I truly do see it as a diary. It helps me comprehend how much I LOVE the humdrum days. Sometimes it reminds me of goals that had slipped my mind. But it always makes me feel better when I feel as if I am not accomplishing things. I can look back and see a few things I have learned to do or how much money and chemical exposure I have saved for my family and I feel better. I do not feel perfect, but better. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
