Wierd Weather!

Is anyone else having this wierd weather we are having here in Arkansas? On Thursday it was so warm that I wore capri's to town. It got to 78 degrees, didn't even feel like February. Then that afternoon a cold front came in and it was all over! We got snow, then sleet on Saturday. Our high on Sunday was 26! We had big icicles hanging from the roof and had to keep breaking the ice on all of the animals water. Not much fun taking care of them in that kind of cold, it hurts! Today was better at 43, hopefully we are on our way back up. I should be thankful for these kind of temperature changes, because that is one of the reasons we moved here. Living in Arizona for 26 years made me long for seasons and the changes they bring. I love that you can tell what season it is here, that the weather and trees change. This is beautiful country and I am so glad God has brought us here. Not much to update on the homestead as it has been too cold, and now muddy to get anything done. Hope to get to building the fence for the sheep we are going to get. That's it for now, have a great week! |
