What a blessing to have a comfortable home! We have been here a little over a week and it already feels like home. I was a little worried that a new house with new furniture would feel like being in a hotel, or visiting someone else's home! But with a lot of hard work to put things away we were able to start back to schoolwork on Monday and it is going great! Our two oldest daughters have their own rooms for the first time in 9 years. I have to say there were no tears shed on their first night apart! It was just, see ya!! I guess I can relate to that, I remember when my little sister moved out of my room when I brother married. I was glad to have some space to myself too. They are having so much fun decorating in their own styles, which are not at all similar! DD #1 is fifteen and has "classis" taste. Chocolate brown carpet, brown, tan and mauve comforter, dark wood furniture....very tasteful. DD #2 is 13 and has pink shag carpet, very bright flowered comforter, neon clock, lime green and white furniture...... very fun! I'm glad the other 2 dds, 10 & 7, kept the wood bunkbeds, morning star quilts, and calm theme! Anyway, we are glad to be here with our 3 horses, 1 donkey, 5 goats, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. We can spend so much more time with them living here instead of 30 minutes away. Hopefully we will be able to breed 2 of the does soon, as having kids would be such a great experience for the girls. Also still planning to get some Katahdin sheep and as Anatolian Shepherd to guard them. We've got more fence to build, that's for sure! Well, I'll update soon on our projects outside and in!
