Wednesday, January 23, 2008 - The shelves are in!

Shelves are in and painted. The bigg'ns and I got the contact paper on and I started filling it up when I got a wild hair and decided to fill it up with children and take a picture. Hubby doesn't want the youngn's faces published online, hence the blurs, but you get the idea. The baby was still eating her lunch, so I stuck the tray in there with her. They all really enjoyed the fun. It's now stuffed and waiting for the hinges and latch to come for me to take a picture with the doors on. I went over everything with Old English Scratch Cover really heavy and stained the the new trim around it very slopily, to help blend it in... We're all so happy with the extra space in the kitchen. It's so much more than I had hoped for. God is SO good!

all that space - enough for six children! - hidden away in a wall! I just do not understand some people. what fun, and HOW NICE! I had not heard of the prairie fires - we do not have a tv or a radio. My prayers for you.

Welcome! Grab a cup and kick off your shoes. I'm a homeschooling mommy to six precious young'ns. Four girls and two boys ages 1-16. I love all kinds of crafts, especially sewing and scrapbooking. I am also learning to knit and crochet. We live in a hundred year old fixer upper farm house on 50 acres in the boonies. We have goats, horses, cows, dogs, cats, chickens, peacocks and a pigeon.
