Farm and Garden and School

Life is busy with seed starting, farm chores and school. The chickens and ducks are all doing well. They are all getting big. My daughter was helping with chores today, she is such a good worker. The boys are doing great helping around the homestead too. We are going to get some more chickens and some guard geese too. I am hoping that it will help keep the dogs off our property. People around here don't believe in leashes for their dogs, so they just run wherever they want to. It's very frustrating especially when the dogs get on your porch and knock your stuff over!! I just hope they don't get my farm animals or my garden! Until I can get fencing up I may just have to camp outside.

The kids are having fun learning, and they all have different intrests. My 9 year old loves rocks and crystals and he loves finding new creatures in the pond. My 12 year old loves outdoors and science experiments. My three year old loves animals, even snakes and bugs. It is funny how different kids can be even though they are raised under the same roof.

Life is great here on the farm. I am just waiting for the weather to warm up so I can get outside and start my raised beds and plant my roses. It has to warm up soon, I just know it does!!!
