Today was Saturday and a break from school . I slept in until eight and then slowly started my day. I sat around with coffee and then called my sister. She invited me over to sew with her, so I packed up the kids and my machine and off we went. I worked on a Pride and Prejudice type dress for my daughter's birthday , it is mostly finished I just need to add the ribbon and a closure to the front and as soon as it is finished I will post a picture of it. I didn't plan on doing this for her birthday so now I need to quickly sew another dress for my other daughter. They already have ball gowns so I am not really sure what I will sew her, maybe a pilgrim costume or something like that. My girls love to dress up. My sister worked on a crib sized rag quilt and almost finished it, it is beautiful.  She invited us to stay for dinner so we didn't get home until almost 8.  We had such a wonderful day.

I decided to wean my baby goats from their mamas today, but it didn't go as well as I wanted it to. We put the babies in another field and had to end up putting the adult goats in their pen because they were going crazy for their babies and I was worried they would get caught in a fence when we were gone. Well, we come home and all the goats are together in the other field and the twins are both nursing on their mama . The adult goats had pushed their way out of their pen and then broke through a spot in the fence that had been fixed with some old wood fence pieces and got to their babies. I had to laugh, now we have to fix the fence because the big goats will escape from the field we had the babies in. I HATE goats!!!!!    

Other than that not much else is going on. We have church tomorrow and I have to go birthday shopping either tomorrow or Monday. I also need to go grocery shopping.  Well, I am going to go take a bath and relax before I head off to bed. I will write more soon.
