Finding Contentment

50s Housewife

02:33 PM, Monday, November 26, 2007 .. 2 comments .. Link

I have found another blog that I really enjoy. I think one reason why I enjoy this blog is that 50s Housewife sounds an awful like me. I also have a thing for kitchen gadgets (that's a future post on my blog, I'm sure), I love the 50s (even though I wasn't born until 1975), I have a problem with my priorities because I am a "chronic over-volunteerer," and did I mention that I love 'ol Blue Eyes (Frank Sinatra sings the background song for her blog)? And yes, I even have textured tubs that are very hard to clean frugally!

50s Housewife doesn't know that I exist. I tend to get to know someone by lurking on their blog before I even leave a comment. But if you've never checked her out before, please do so. I think I may have found another kindred spirit! Maybe I should tell her I'm talking about her....

**** Disclaimer:  Dear Mrs. 50s Houswife, I stole the great illustration above off of your blog, but only for the purposes of promoting your blog because I am so in awe....

I'm not sure if I'm navigating the comments right, but thank you!!! How sweet you are! I'm so tickled that you like my blog.

Thanks for letting us know! I just went over there and it's my kind of gal too. I love the 50's and all the things you listed too, even though I wasn't born yet either. I saved it to my fav's.
