Update on Alisha and Baby Alexis

12:02 PM, Tuesday, September 11, 2007 .. Posted in Family .. 1 comments .. Link

As I read all your very sweet comments and prayers regarding my SIL and our family, I was brought to tears. Unfortunately, the news is not good. Today Alisha was not breathing well. She is now unconscious, and a ventilator is breathing for her.

I have taken the baby for several hours today. She is so tiny and precious. The photo above is my best friend Nancy's baby (Nancy came over to help me for a while today). Her baby, Hunter, is a month old, but he was 9 lb. 3 oz when he was born. Next to preemie Alexis, he looks huge!

Well, I just wanted to give everyone a quick update. I will continue to update when I can. Thank you again for your sweet thoughts and prayers.

That looks like what my now 11 month old son looked like beside another baby. He was 6 weeks early and weighed 5lbs 5oz.

Continued prayers for the mama!
