The truth of the matter
Tonight as the older kids were brushing their teeth, Adam curled up beside me on the couch and was almost immediately fast asleep. I love it when he falls asleep in my arms so I let him stay there a while before his Daddy carried him to bed. But as we lay (lie?) there, Mark glanced over and exclaimed, “Did he fall asleep picking his nose?”
Well, I have to admit that from Mark’s angle, it sure looked like it. But from my angle, I could see the truth of the matter. Mark grabbed a camera and took a photo so we could tease him about it tomorrow. Even though Adam is young enough that it wouldn’t embarrass him at all right now, I made Mark take a picture of where his finger was really pointing. I’m sure one day that first picture will embarrass him, but he’ll have the second one to get him off the hook! Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 83 of 168 } { Next Page } |
