Teenage chickens

The chickens are getting so big! I guess they are what I would term as teenagers now. They are developing their own distinct personalities and they all come running whenever we approach the coop.

Above is Big Mama, our prettiest and most unusual. She is one of two araucanas. The photo really doesn't do her justice, but she has a sort of "poof" of feathers around her face. Below, the chickens are eating at some feed that I spilled on the ground. I can't wait until they start laying!
