Prayers needed

02:50 PM, Wednesday, June 6, 2007 .. 4 comments .. Link

Blog friends,

We need your prayers. As I have alluded to it before, you may know that we have been in the process of buying a house. We got a preapproval on a loan and received our letter of approval in the mail. We were looking at a couple of houses in particular and working with a real estate agent.

Unfortunately, my husband - through no fault of his own - lost his job yesterday. As I am a stay-at-home-mom who homeschools, this leaves us with no funds coming in. And even when he does find another job, we have lost the ability to buy a house as our lender says my husband needs to be at a job at least two years to be eligible for a mortgage.

He is depressed, and we are both very worried. Please pray that he finds another job quickly, and that we quickly get over the dissapointment of being stuck in the city for another two years. Pray that we make it financially until he does find another job.

In Christ,

Barbara

Barbara know that God is in control and He will see you through these times. It is scarey and can be depressing but lift your head up and look to the one with all the answers. Lean on Him and trust in Him and He will see you through. Praying for you!!

I came across your blog (I admit, I'm addicted to reading the homesteader blogs) and I wanted to see if I could maybe help your husband. I'm a professional resume writer. I would be glad to take a look at your husbands resume (no charge) and make any recommendations that I can to help him get a jump start in his job search. You can reach me via email: sonjavon@hotmail.com
