Finding Contentment | |
Lazy Sunday afternoonWe spent much of Sunday afternoon in the yard. The kids helped do some weeding and then Mark set up the sprinkler while they put their bathing suits on (except Alli, who wouldn't fit into any of hers from last year - she just wore shorts and a t-shirt). Everything went great until the Little One stepped on a bee that stug him on the bottom of the foot. He took it all in stride and didn't even cry, but it put an end to the outdoor activities. By the way, it's easy to tell we just started this homesteading thing at the beginning of the year. My boys are soooo white and soooo skinny! Not the stereotypical tanned, buff country boys....
