Cloth napkin update

11:14 PM, Monday, April 16, 2007 .. Posted in Frugality .. 5 comments .. Link
I noticed that Chas is about to go paper-free as far as napkins go, and I thought I'd update you'll on where we stand. Remember I talked about the doubts my family and friends had about the change? Well, we are getting there. Last night my husband remarked that he didn't like the cloth napkins at first, but he was now getting used to them. A little longer and I predict he won't know what to do without them!

Being as my husband works in the paper industry, we will continue to use paper products :) Can't just stop when it is his livelyhood. Not really, though he makes copy and writing paper.. But that is great you are able to make the switch.

I mentioned the idea to my hubby and he just gave me the ole...."hmm" ....and didn't mention anything else....so I guess the next step is to get the napkins out of the drawer and onto the table and see how it all goes.

Now to find a use for the vintage metal paper towel holder that has been in my family since my parents were first married!!
