Swimming and Blackberries! This is the life!!

This life has got to be the best!  I was picking blackberries this afternoon to make jam and then when I came up the hill I took my dog to the brook to go swimming and we played awhile.  After that I got a glass of ice tea and sat in the rocker on the front porch and rested for a bit.   It is so peaceful this afternoon, I love to listen to the birds singing! 

Lastnight we were able to turn off the a/c in the bedroom and all night I could hear owls, and coyotes. I love it...well that is till the dogs started barking because the coyotes were barking.

Off to go start my jam!!! maybe even catch a late nap!

Hey,
I hope you have alot of fun making jam.Did you get alot of berries? I always have fun making jellies and jams.My sister,Sally,made some blackberry jelly this month.My mom read your blog and says the best things in life are free.
