Why puppies can't sleep!!

I had a chance to sleep in just a little this morning, but, as soon as that sun came up I was getting puppy kisses and when he realized I was ignoring him, next came the ferocious puppy growl and then started tugging on my blankets....figured I better get up and let dh sleep a little longer, now I am wide awake and the oh so sweet puppy is curled up on the floor sleeping ever so soundly! 

We had a nice surprised last evening, I was working in the garden and a strange car pulled in, It took me a few minutes to realize that it was dh cousin and his family from Nova Scotia, they were on their way through but couldn't stay long, but they will be back next Sunday and we will have dinner and they will spend the night.

Today I plan to weed the garden some more, make some blackberry jam, finish mowing the yard and just do some odds and ends around the house.  Well off to decide what to cook for breakfast!!
