This actually works better than windex!!!

Window cleaner

1 cup of ammonia
1 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
1 teaspoon dishsoap
4 drops of blue food coloring (optional)
12 cups of water (makes one gallon)

Put all ingredients into a one gallon
container. You can buy an inexpensive
spray bottle at a dollar store or wash
and reuse an old store bought window
cleaner bottle.

Hi

You posted a comment on my blog asking how I keep my canned green beans crisp. To be honest I've only ever canned one batch that didn't stay crisp and I know it was the type of green bean I canned--Blue Lake variety. They are those wide, flat ones. All the others I've done are fine. I don't do anything special to them. I can them raw and add a 1/2 t per pint or 1 tsp per quart of salt to each jar. Maybe the kind of bean that grows well in Alabama cans well. Sorry I can't answer your question any better. Oh, I think I'll try your window cleaner recipe next time I bring myself to wash the windows!!!
God Bless!
