Precious is life, going home, refections...

I have been reflecting since yesterday on a ATV accident that we had in town this weekend. The man had died and left behind a young wife and 3 young children, I couldn't help but to cry for them and then pray for them. The hardest part is that we knew this person. I am a Volunteer EMT, but fortunetly since it was someone we knew I wasn't on call yesterday morning. When things like this happen, I always seem to reflect on them, maybe I am just a very emotional person, but it makes me realize just how precious our life is here on Earth and never know when God will be calling us home. So then, why are so many people miserable when they never know when their time will be called upon, do they not know the joy and happiness is God's promises. Days like this I wish that my children were closer to home so I would be able to hold them and let them know how much I love them, At least I can do it by email every day.

I'm very sorry to hear that someone in your community passed away. I'll be praying for his family!
I too like to reflect as well. I think it's a reminder of how to put priorities back in order!

On the news this evening they were telling of yet another death fron an atv. This boy was only 16 yrs old. The total deaths in West Virginia this year alone on atv's is 38. So sad.
