Here at home!

I think we may be having some kittens!!!   There have been 2 very large toms around lately and both our girls are acting a little embarassed!  I lifted up Fancy and I do believe she is making up!  YAY- I love babies!! I need to clean the garage up special now!

Got my taxes done this morning!  It cost me $122 and I don't even itemize!!  Good news though- I didn't make much this year, (school and starting new jobs) so they are giving all they held back to me plus an EIC!!  It will cover the cost of having the taxes done and pay off one of my two credit cards!!!  KILL THE DEBT!!!  I am so excited about that!  I am thinking of doing it myself next year but .... do I buy the software stuff, do I do it online.... I really don't know what is best and safest!  Plus I am not a tax whiz, so it is a little scary for me to do myself.  BUT $122 is more than the cost of the software program and I'm not stupid so, maybe next year!?

I have gained alot of weight back and it is time for me to turn it around.  I haven't gained it all back but I am uncomfortable and not too happy with myself.  I have a plan to try next work week.  At home I just have to be sensible and quit treating myself like it is party time!!!  I ordered a few books from Crossings (Christian Book Club) and one was The Great Physicians Rx for Health & Wellness by Jordan Rubin.  I'm honestly waiting on the mail lady right now!!  I'm planning on starting my exersize plan this afternoon; 30 min. of cardio and about the same on weight training.  I weighed in this morning so next Monday I can gauge how well it is working or if I need to tweek my plan a bit.  I know I can make some big changes by spring!!  I have some really cute scrubs for work I can't wait to get into!

My parents are planning a trip to SanDiego this summer to see my uncle!  My new aunt is great at finding great deals on travel so they will be able to fly down and back for not too much.  They seem excited- I'm happy for them!  I'm praying God will bless there time away together!

The mail hasn't arrived yet and I'm getting really cold sitting in the office so I am going to go clean the garage!  Love catching up with all of you ladies- God has blessed me with you!!  ttfn!

February 6, 2006 - I use turbo tax!

We have used turbotax online the past few years and love it. Taxact is cheaper, but we have our farm stuff and I dont' want to mess w/re-entering all the info. It transfers everything, which makes things very easy. And doing it online, you don't pay until you file so you could try this year nd compare it to what the acct gave you adn see how you do! for free!

Good job ont eh exercise! I workout 30 min a day. I love it. Today was an excellent weight, squat, lunge workout and I was really sweating! We get directv and there is a station called fittv and they have lots of different exercise shows on all day long. It's really how I justify paying for it--it's about what a gym membership is and I don't need to leave the house!

I'm another TurboTax fan...we don't generally itemize, though the past 2 years did...we get the TurboTax Deluxe version and ti's a good one...walks you through every little thing.

I know what you mean by gaining all your hard work back!!! I had lost 50 lbs. by doing that crazy thing all the good doctors want people to do...eat healthy, watch your calories and exercise!!! I fell of the "stay away from mayo" wagon, but am ready to climb back on. I need an accountablity partner, wanna team up? God bless, Rusty
