The kids had their 4-H meeting tonight. They received their project books. Hannah`s is chickens, goats, photography, and sewing. Because of Sammy`s age he does a cloverbud book. I keep asking myself how we are going to do all this.
For the next 3 mos. it is something just about everyday. I will be so crazy by the end.lol I know for sure every Saturday there will be two ball games. Each will have two ball games during the week plus practice. On top of that, one 4-h meeting a month. Two cub scout meetings a month. Plus the activities with cub scouts. I know there is no way we can do it all. I say some of the cub scouting activities will be on hold for a couple of months. Just doing what we can. Several of the little boys in the scouts are playing ball as well. Their cub master said he would work with them. Good thing about 4-h project books can be worked on during the day. Well anyway, I was excited to see their project books. I can`t wait to start helping them work in them.
I remember the days when I had three kids in three different schools. And each one of them had at least three or four activities. Football team, flag team, band, 4-H, Boy and girl scouts, karate, dance team, you name it they were in it. I thought Id go crazy. Now that I homeschool my youngest and two older ones are in their 20s (already) I look back and think, "I'd do it all again" LOL Enjoy it while you can BUT don't kill yourself over it. Ask them to pick the two things they like the most and see where that leaves you. good luck..............Kitty
